At The Woods Medical Centre we care deeply about the well-being of our patients, staff, and the communities in which we live and work.
Strict triage protocols are in place to ensure the health and safety of patients and staff are protected.
The Woods is adhering to guidelines set by the Australian Government, the Department of Health, and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. We would like to reassure our patients the Practice operates under the highest level of infection control standards. This includes the strictest of hygiene controls, care and cleanliness in our Consulting Rooms, Reception area, Waiting Room and bathrooms.
Through the continuing uncertainty regarding COVID-19 pandemic The Woods will remain dedicated to providing safe health care to all our patients.
Telehealth GP Consultations Available
Telehealth Consultations are now available with all Doctors via phone or Skype.
Please ring Reception to book your Telehealth Consultation.
These Consultations may be Bulk Billed in certain cases but are otherwise billed Privately with the usual discount for Pensioners and HealthCare Card holders.
Your Doctor may still advise you to attend the Practice for various reasons, like when a physical examination is necessary or an immunisation due.
Please be reassured all necessary hygiene and distancing protocols are strictly observed, to make your attendance safe.
We are recommending all patients receive the annual Flu vaccine to prevent seasonal Flu.
