Dr Ashlee Burgess
Dr. Burgess has a strong interest in Women’s health, with a particular focus on antenatal care, Children’s health, and Preventative Medicine.
Experience & Professional Interests
I have always had a passion for rural health and thus moved to Broome at the beginning of 2019 where I completed my General Practice fellowship in 2023.
I have also completed additional training in Paediatrics (Sydney Child Health Program) and Women’s health (IUD and Implanon course through Sexual Health Quarters, WA).
In addition to my clinical work, I also supervise GP Registrars and provide out of practice medical education for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Outside of Work
Outside of work, I am kept busy with two young children. I love the beach, running and a glass of wine with friends.
